IZOVOL AGRO blocks are produced from environmentally safe mineral wool based on basalt stones, and are designed to directly seed or for transplantation of seedlings germinated in a plug. Depending on the technology used, and the crops to be grown, IZOVOL AGRO blocks can be different sizes and have different number of holes. Vertical arrangement of fibers provides additional hardness and dimensional stability of IZOVOL AGRO substrate. Grooves at the bottom of IZOVOL AGRO blocks provide additional airing of substrate and optimize draining better.
The use of IZOVOL AGRO slabs allows complete control over the root system of crops and provides efficient control of key parameters. The IZOVOL AGRO slabs, with a horizontal structure of fibers, provide optimal uniform distribution of water and essential nutrients for the entire length of each slab. Horizontal arrangement of fibers provides plant root system to grow throughout the slab. Moreover, such arrangement optimize air circulation in slab, humidity control and nutrient content. Corrugated fiber arrangement of slab let it drain better and the root system of plant grows faster. Each slab is packed individually into polyethylene-laminated film.
